Anne Janelle Light

Anne Janelle Light, 87, of Unicoi, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Janelle was affectionately known as "Muffin." She enjoyed her time with her granddaughters, shopping, and traveling. She was incredibly creative and stylish. Muffin cared deeply for all animals. Janelle was a dedicated employee of the psychology department at ETSU for 33 years.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Hubert "Pig" Broyles and Corrine Broyles.

Janelle is survived by her husband of 65 years, Lowell Light; brother, Tom Broyles; son, Jeff Light, and wife, Letitia Light; granddaughters, Lindsay Light, Rachel Light, Maggie Light, Stephanie Hyatt and Sarah Thacker; and great-granddaughter, Anna Crawford.

No public services will be held.
