Our dearest beloved Antwain Timothy James Hale, 45, of Kingsport, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026.
Antwain was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Santana Hale, and a loving father of four children who were the greatest joy of his life. He treasured his family and was happiest when spending time with those he loved. He was especially close to his father, Timothy, who was a true warrior in his eyes. Through his father's guidance, Antwain learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and providing for those he loved. His mother, Teresa Ann Hale, loved him dearly and was a devoted mother whose love and care left a lasting impact on his life.
A skilled construction worker and brick mason, Antwain took great pride in working with his hands. He enjoyed building things, traveling wherever work took him, and was known as a dependable, hardworking man whose strong work ethic reflected the values instilled in him from an early age.
Antwain cherished meaningful conversations and the time he spent with family. One of his favorite aunts, Suzanna Swann, held a special place in his heart. During a season of his life when he lived with her, they shared many conversations and memories that remained dear to him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Santana Hale; his parents, Timothy Hale and Teresa Ann Hale; his sister, Estelita Chiquita Maria Hale; his grandparents, James Swann, Phyllis Swann, Damon Hale, Julia Hale; his great-grandparents, Lillie Merchant, Orbin Merchant, Arthur Swann, and Darcus Swann; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Aletha Hale; his son, Jacob Barker; his daughter, Kierra Hale; his daughter, Kiya Hale; his granddaughter, Arealinna Taylor; his favorite first cousin, Carlos McGill; along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
Though our hearts grieve today, we are reminded that death is not the end of the story. Antwain has finished his earthly journey, and his family holds firmly to the promise that his sins have been paid through Christ. They look with joyful anticipation toward the resurrection and the glorious Kingdom that Jehovah God has prepared through His Son, Jesus Christ. There, every tear will be wiped away, pain and suffering will be no more, and those who have fallen asleep under this old system will have the opportunity to live again. Until that wonderful day, may we all hold tightly to our faith, cherish the memories we have been given, and look forward with hope to the beautiful reunion God has promised.
"For the wages sin pays is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, and Glory Be... RESURRECTION.
