Attilio Joseph Sayers

Attilio Joseph Sayers, 62, of Bluff City, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

He was born on January 30th, 1963, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey to William and Dorothy Sayers. Attilio was preceded in death by his father, William; his sister, Denise Snyder; his daughter, April Gilmartin; and his son, Attilio Gilmartin.

Attilio grew up in Woodbury, New Jersey and moved to Bristol, Tennessee in 1993. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his family, especially when gathered around for BBQs. He loved his pitbulls, Pretty Girl and Cowboy. Attilio also enjoyed dancing and had an amazing personality, always making sure to put a smile on everyone's face with his tales of the past.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Joseph (Marie) Stutzenburg, Vallissa (Christian) Hardman, Michael Sayers, and Samantha (Russell) Grubbs; 11 grandchildren; and his best friends, Vallissa Gilmartin and Jon Morningstar.

Per Attilio's wishes, no formal services will be held.
