Barbara Jo Dixon

Barbara Jo Dixon, 74, of Gray, TN, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Barbara held to her Baptist faith and loved God with all her heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Green; husband, Scott Horist; first husband and father of Paul and Carolyn, Paul Dixon Sr.; as well as many siblings.

Left to cherish Barbara's memory are her sons, Paul Dixon Jr. and Alejandro Dixon; daughter, Carolyn Holsclaw; grandchildren, Rebecca Hyatt, Tashia Hyatt, David Dixon, Felicia Echols, Elvia Ponce, Raymundo Ponce, Martha Ponce, and Margaret Ponce; great-grandchildren, Christian Hawkins, Diego Ponce, Bentley Dixon, Brayden Hawkins, Ruth Echols, Allison Ponce, Micah Echols, Audriella Echols, Zaidenn Dixon, Mateo Ponce, Elijah Hale, Kayden Hale, and Celine Ponce; brothers, Jack Green and Earl Lee Green; sisters, Joyce Perry, Jenny Fox, Sonia Green, Pamela Carr, Margaret Green, Melinda Clark, Rita Green, and Deborah Lesikar, who was her sister's keeper and caregiver.
