Belt Melvin Ramey

Belt Melvin Ramey, 90, of Duffield, VA, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Belt is survived by his loving sister, Florence Boggs of Duffield, VA, his daughter, Cindy Linkous of Portsmouth, VA, and his son, Ronnie Ramey of Portsmouth, VA; four grandchildren, Belt, Shaun, Shannon, and Johnny; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; along with many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Jessie and Ida Ramey; his sons, Belt M. Ramey Jr. and Johnny L. Ramey; and three sisters and one brother, Irene Bowen, Pauline Couch, Delia Davis, and Edward Ramey.

He will be dearly missed, but we find comfort in knowing he is with Jesus.

A Graveside Service will be held at First Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ on Tuesday, May 13th, at noon.
