Betty Jo Frye

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Jo Frye, 66 of Blountville, Tennessee who peacefully passed after a courageous battle with cancer on June 25,2025.

She was born on November 18 1958 to the late Rembert and Blanche Botkin. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and niece Becky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bob Botkin. Survivors include her sons- Kevin Frye, Jason Frye, Tim Frye (Alexandra) Sisters- Barbara Morgan (Gene) Helen Fleenor (John) Brother- Blaine Botkin (Linda) Grandchildren- Austin, Gracie, Ella, Aria, Emmie; Great grandchildren Weston, Waylon and several nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by those around her especially by her close relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Renaissance Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
