Beulah Ann Simpson, 75, of Church Hill, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 12, 2025. Beulah was born and raised in Dry Creek, Virginia, and attended Rye Cove High School. In 1973, she married the love of her life, Terry K. Simpson.
A proud and savvy entrepreneur, Beulah successfully ran two businesses and later retired from Sears. She was a faithful member of Freedom Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, where her love for the Lord and gospel music shone brightly. Beulah never met a stranger-she could talk to anyone, always with warmth, kindness, and a smile that made everyone feel at home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clyde and Mary M. Williams, and her siblings Billy Williams, Debbie Williams, Janice Williams, Rosella McCann, Guy Williams, Martha Wells, and Wanda Burgan.
Beulah is survived by her son Gregory D. Simpson (Joy Darice), daughter Joy Ann Jennings (spouse), and siblings Jean Owens, J.D. Williams (Sabra), Carl Williams (Nancy), Lula Shelton (Darrell), Brenda Estep (Allen), Herman Williams, and Patsy Lawson. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who loved her dearly.
Family and friends are invited to honor Beulah's life at Freedom Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Kingsport, Tennessee, on Friday, October 17, 2025. The family will receive friends at 2:00 PM, with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM.
