Bobby Joe Widner

Bobby Joe Widner, 76, passed away on Saturday, August 06, 2016. Bob was loved by many. He could walk into a room and by the time he left, everyone was his friend. He knew how to make people laugh. People called him "Uncle Bob". He spent a lot of time with his family and enjoyed his great nephews and nieces. His favorite hobby was watching the races on Sunday. Bob loved his job doing concrete finishing for H&R concrete in Centerville, Ohio which is owned by his friend, Hershell Williams. He leaves behind a big family full of love and more friends than you can count. He is preceded in death by his parents, Garnie and Nannie Widner; brothers, Bill Widner and Ronnie Widner; sister, Lida Lee Holley; and brother-in-law, John Marshall. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Widner and Clara Brooks; sister-in-laws, Thelma Widner and Wilma Widner; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at First Freewill Baptist Church of Morrison City (211 W Carters Valley Rd, Kingsport, TN) from 5pm to 7pm.
