Bobby Lynn Peace Jr.

Bobby Lynn Peace Jr., 64, of Kingsport, TN, passed away at home on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Bobby was a talented mechanic, retiring after 40 years at Eastman Chemical Company with a majority of that time in the coal gasification facility. Bobby was able to fix, build, or patch up anything. He was first on the speed dial list for many of his family and friends when something broke and always willing to help. He enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR, the Kentucky Wildcats, and his dog, Benny. But greater than all of those things, he was proudest of being "Pops" to his grandchildren that he loved and adored.

Bobby was preceded in death by his nephew Matthew Peace.

Bobby is survived by his children, Lee (Sarah) Peace, Jonathan (Tia) Peace, and Reilly (Gage) Durham; his good friend, Kathy Peace; his grandchildren; his parents, Bob and Phyllis Peace; his brother, Tony (Allison) Peace.

A celebration of Life for Bobby will be held on September 24th, 2026 from 6-8pm at Trinity Memorial Centers.
