Bobby Harold Weldon Jr.

Bobby Harold Weldon Jr., 73, passed from this life to be with Jesus early on the morning of Wednesday, June 4th, 2025. He was the firstborn child of Bobby and Virginia Weldon in Bradenton, Florida, in 1968, and worked alongside his father and uncle at Champion Homes before moving on to work in the Tropicana box plant. Then he became an emergency medical technician and later a paramedic for Manatee County, Florida, a job he loved for 30 years. A soft-spoken man, he loved sharing stories from his experiences building and fixing race cars, working with ceramics and pottery, Scuba diving, sailing catamarans, and teaching karate. Bobby loved his attentive cat, Morticia, she was his best friend that was always at his side. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army, having served four years during the Vietnam War. He loved life, he loved the Lord, and he loved his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Donna Weldon, his daughter, Chrissy Barbusca and son-in-law Tony Barbusca of Anderson, South Carolina; his stepson, Jon Tribble, and daughter-in-law, Heather Tribble, of Kingsport, Tennessee; his stepson Spencer Tribble; his adopted son Jacob Weldon; his grandchildren Marco, Rocco, and Gianna Barbusca- and Cash and Colter Tribble; his siblings, Ricky Weldon, of Sarasota, Florida, Mary Sue Bergeron, of Tampa, Florida, and Danny Weldon, of Raiford, Florida; his stepmother Helen Weldon, of Ellenton, Florida; and his uncle, Allen Brooks, of Bradenton, Florida.

Graveside service with military honors will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, TN, at 2:00 PM on June 12, 2025.
