Bonita Toman

Bonita “Bunny” Toman, passed away on April 8th, 2022 after an unexpected battle of health issues. Born in Staunton, Va but has resided in Bristol, Va for many years. She had a sweet and feisty personality, never knew a stranger, and loved nature, thrifting, and reading. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene & Mary Toman. Along with her grandparents, brother, and other family members. She is survived by her children Krystal Burnette, James Cogdell, and Becca (Mason) Bishop. Grandchild, Tyler Burnette. Fur babies, Elsie & Millie. And many other dear family members and close friends that she cherished greatly. There will be no service, but a celebration of life to be announced. The family wants to thank Abingdon Health & Rehab for their wonderful care of her. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the Toman family.
