Bradley Wade Parlier, age 50, of Church Hill, Tennessee, passed away on May 17, 2026. Born on September 21, 1975, in Atlanta, Georgia, Brad lived a life marked by laughter, enthusiasm, and a personality that could brighten a room.
Brad was known for being funny, outgoing, and full of excitement. He had a way of drawing people in and making life a little more interesting. He was someone with many interests and hobbies-often finding a new passion or "hobby of the moment" that captured his attention and enthusiasm and could be described as a bit of a 'Free Spirit". A devoted fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, he proudly carried his Georgia roots with him throughout his life.
Throughout the years, Brad worked in many occupations including truck driving and bus driving, with his most recent work serving as a bus driver. Brad even answered the call to serve their country by enlisting in the United States Army. However, the longest chapter of his working life was spent alongside his father at Chick-fil-A, where he built many years of memories and relationships.
While Brad experienced many seasons in life and wore many hats, perhaps his greatest accomplishment and deepest source of prosperity was being a father. He leaves behind his beloved children, Opal Michelle Parlier and Lane Joshua Parlier, whose lives remain part of his lasting legacy.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Ann Parlier and Wilbur "Ray" Parlier; his uncle, Stan Parlier; and his grandparents, Nannie Parlier and Stanley Parlier.
He is survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Mellissa Farris; his sister, Kristi Renee Johnson and brother-in-law Davan Matthew Johnson; along with extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Brad's journey included a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease, a condition that had deeply touched his family across generations and affects nearly 30,000 others in the United States.
