Brandon Blake Sells

Brandon Blake Sells, 43, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

Born in Kingsport on March 13, 1982, Brandon built a life grounded in hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for those around him. He attended Daniel Boone High School, graduating with the Class of 2000. He began his electrical career working alongside his father, Roy Sells, at their family business, Sells & Sons Electrical. After his father's passing, Brandon continued that legacy by establishing his own company, An Affordable Electrician, serving the community for 27 years and earning the respect of countless contractors and families throughout the area.

Brandon had a deep love for music and possessed a natural gift for playing the guitar as well as many other instruments. His playful, youthful spirit was one of his most cherished qualities. He enjoyed comic books, magic tricks, board games, and challenging himself with brain-teasing puzzles. Above all, Brandon loved spending time with his family, especially his children, who were the light of his life.

He was a kind soul with a generous heart, a warm personality, and a way of instantly connecting with others. Brandon touched the lives of so many and leaves behind memories filled with laughter, love, and the joy he brought to every room. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.

Brandon was preceded in death by his father, Roy Sells; maternal grandmother, Karen Eddy; paternal grandparents, Everrett and Alma Sells; grandparents, Bill and Gladys Vaughn; uncles, Roger Vaughn and Brad Eddy; aunt, Rhonda Vaughn; and cousin, Mark Osborne.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Dawn and Russell Vaughn; stepmother, Elaine Sells; sons, Nicholas Blake Sells and Aden Ray Sells; daughter, Hannah Marie Sells; grandson, Damien Jace Sells; maternal grandfather, Sanford Eddy; brother, Lucas Vaughn; sisters, April Sells and Lindsey Vaughn; four nieces; one nephew; and his fiancée, Sarah Zavada; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.

Friends and family are invited to honor Brandon's life at Trinity Memorial Centers on Monday, November 24, 2025. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with services beginning at 7:00 PM. Graveside services will follow the next morning, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Beulah Baptist Church Community Cemetery in Kingsport, Tennessee. Pallbearers will include Chris Green, Hunter Laws, Logan Vaughn, Kevin Davidson, Chris Lane, Luke Vaughn, and honorary pallbearer Davie Teague.
