Brenda Ann Rutledge

Brenda Ann Rutledge, 77, of Kingsport, TN, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 23, 2025.

Brenda was a woman of deep faith and unwavering devotion to her church and community. She was a beloved member of Oasis Ministries from its very beginning and found great joy singing in the Liberty of Celebration choir. A faithful attendee of various worship services, Brenda was active in the Maple Oaks Apartment Community Room gatherings, and also worshiped at Preaching Christ Church and, on occasion, at Shades of Grace UMC.

Known for her kind spirit and generous heart, Brenda was also a devoted supporter of Lamplight Theatre, where she found inspiration and fellowship in the arts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, who now welcome her home in peace.

Brenda leaves behind a legacy of love and faith through her sons, Dan Rutledge and Chris (Rhonda) Rutledge; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later time.
