Brenda Burns Skelton

Brenda Burns Skelton, age 65, passed away quietly on April 22, 2026, in Kingsport, Tennessee, surrounded by her children, family, and a lifelong friend.

She was born on December 4, 1960, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Brenda was an adoring mother to four children who she worked tirelessly for, a devoted daughter and a faithful friend. She will be remembered for her carefree and whimsical spirit, bringing lightness and warmth to those around her. She had a special way of finding joy in life's simple moments.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Burns; her father, Edward Burns; her niece, Anna Burns; and her son in law, Erik Hall.

She is survived by her daughters, Brittney Hall and Sarah Skelton; her sons, Andrew Skelton and Daniel Skelton; her brother, Edward Burns; her sister, Clara Burns; and her niece, Elizabeth Burns.

Brenda's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her memory is one of love, and a free-spirit that will never be forgotten.

Services will be held on May 22nd at 6pm at the Summersville Baptist Church:
