Brittany Renee Johnson, 33, of Bristol, VA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
Born in Decatur, Illinois, Brittany grew up in the Kingsport, Tennessee area, where she built a life centered around family, love, and devotion to her children. She graduated with honors from Sullivan North High School, where she was a proud member of the Beta Club and Upward Bound and earned a place on the National Honor Roll. Brittany was intelligent, determined, and always striving to do her best.
Above all else, Brittany loved her family. She was a devoted mother who felt truly blessed by her four children, whom she adored and cared for with all her heart. Much of her joy came from the simple moments spent with them, whether taking trips to the zoo, cooking meals for her family, or just being together. Her children were the center of her world.
Brittany had a warm and vibrant personality. She loved to talk and had the gift of making friends wherever she went, truly a social butterfly. Her smile could light up any room, and her presence brought laughter and comfort to those around her. She also deeply valued her work family and the friendships she built there over the years.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Buddy Hawkins and Bernice Bartley, and Donna Johnson and James Johnson, along with several beloved aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Catherine, Luke, Graysen, and Isa; her brother, Tim Johnson; her mother, Pamela Trent; her father, Jerry Johnson; her aunt, Tina Williams (Gary); her step-siblings, Holly Rodriguez and Jeremy Johnson; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by her kindness and joyful spirit.
