Buren Efford Laney 83, passed away October 23, 2025 at 11:38pm at Wexford House, Kingsport, TN. He was born in Ft Blackmore, Virginia on February 7, 1942. Buren's dad is father, Marion Stonewall Laney (Stoney), and his mother is Ora Ethel (Stapleton) Laney, both predeceased him. Also predecessed are his sisters: Margaret Imogene Moore,

Redith Alvania Powers, Mary Etta Moore, Ines Hannah Isaacs, Linda Lou Thornton, Peggy Anita Reed. And brothers: Johnny Edwin Laney, Jimmy Dale Laney

Buren is survived by daughter: Melissa Laney Lane. sister: Jallie Carletta Sims. adopted brother: Ricky Lynn Laney. And many nephews and nieces.

Early on Buren worked all phases of service stations, later brick mason, quality mechanic especially the older cars n trucks, early retirement.

Buren will be missed. The love of family is forever. Cremation. Buren's services was the family closeness n love throughout life, his most prized affiliations. Thanks to all, private or personal or professional who extended their love n care to him from his birth to now.
