Carmen Vidia Mae Harris (36) beloved mother, sister, daughter, and kindhearted friend, returned to her Savior October 9, 2026.
Carmen was born on September 22, 1990 on Elsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota to Annette and Richard Harris and was the fifth of six children. As her father served in the United States Air Force the Harris family moved from South Dakota to North Carolina before settling in Bluff City, Tennessee where Carmen would spend the rest of her childhood and adult life.
Carmen was the kind of person who genuinely cared for all she encountered. She would give you the shirt off her back, a shoulder to lean on, any lost animal a home, and would strike up a conversation with anyone she came across. Her incredibly big heart and loving spirit were always on display.
Her pride and joy are her children Carson, Theodore and Ellie. She was so proud of each them and loved them very deeply. The children loved to spend time with her and she made them feel special and loved.
Her friends called her "Carmello" and "Frogger" because of her sweet and bubbly personality. Carmen could often be found playing Pokémon Go and texting her loved ones asking who could join her in a battle from a far. Her family will always think of her when they see a fuzzy robe or blanket as those were Carmen's favorite.
Carmen was preceded in death by grandparents, Joachim Gloschat, Elvia Harris and Floyd Harris.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children Carson, Theodore and Ellie; parents Richard and Annette; Grandmother Camille; siblings Stacy, Cori Ann, Rickie, Joseph, and Naomi. She also has many nieces and nephews that loved her, as well as countless friends and loved ones.
