Carolyn Marie Brown

Carolyn Marie Bennett Brown, 65, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital due to a sudden illness. Carolyn was born in Sullivan County and was a lifelong resident. She was a dental assistant for family dental centers for many years. Carolyn spent most of her time raising her children, whom she loved and was proud of. She kept a clean house and took pride in it. She was a very special mother who was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by her sons. She is preceded in death by her parents, William A. and Mary Virginia Bennett; special grandson, Zachary Nichols; brother, Carson Bennett; special mother-in-law, Nan Hodges; and grandmother, Cornelia and husband, Berry Watts, of Kingsport, TN. She is survived by her sons, Travis Nichols and Tyler Hodges, of Kingsport, TN; grandson, Trevor Nichols; sisters, Billye Nelson and Betty Smith, of Greene County; special sister-in-law, Carol Amyx, of Kingsport, TN; and her special dog, Rocko.
