Charles Wayne Nunley

Charles Wayne Nunley (Wayne), 62, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Wayne was a simple man who enjoyed simplicity of life. You could always find him up in the mountain visiting his Dad. He enjoyed cutting grass and working on lawnmowers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bud Nunley and his mother Wilima Carter; his girlfriend, Rose Mathes; grandmother, Nana Carter and grandmother, Lucile Bledsoe.

He is survived by his children. Son, Michael Nunley and daughter in law, Shelia Nunley. Daughter, Kathy Gabello and son in law, Daniel Gabello. Six grandchildren, Riley Nunley, Alyssa Becker, Jacob Gabello, Leah Gabello, Allison Gabello, and Madilynn Gabello. His stepmother, Barbara Nunley who raised him. Sisters, Loretta Collier, Charlene Long, Mary Angel Nunley and brother, Chris Henery. Niece, Lily Fields and his very best friend, Amy Bandy and her daughter, Tracie. The family would like to leave everyone with the Word of God.
