Cheryl Rose Tate

Cheryl Rose Tate, 73, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025.

Cheryl was the only daughter of Robert (Bob) and Frances Tate. She was born on August 31, 1952, and spent her entire life in Kingsport. After graduating from Ketron High School, she worked at Tennessee Eastman until becoming disabled.

Cheryl enjoyed a quiet and creative life. She loved crocheting, crafting, and traveling with her mother on camper trips. Some of her favorite destinations included Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are her brothers, Dennis (Jean) Tate, Keith (Kay) Tate, and Randy Tate. Cheryl is also survived by her nieces, Amanda (Josh) Perkey and Julie (Alex) Lyddon, and her nephew, Adam (Taylor) Tate. She leaves behind four great nieces and nephews, Sebastian and Fiona Perkey, and Joie and Matthew Lyddon.

There will be no formal service at this time.
