Chester Ernest Clough, 65, of Johnson City, TN, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

He is was a great father, husband, and military man.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Clough and Joyce Clough; sister, Laurie Clough; brother, Robert Clough; granddaughter, Emma Clough; and nephew, Little Charlie Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rachel Clough; sons, Chad (Rebekah) Clough of Colver, PA, and Timothy Clough (Elizabeth Clarke) of Greenville, NC; step-children, Billy Matheney of Severville, TN, Jacob Hoover of Newport, TN, Ana Burgess of Richmond, VA, and Jennifer Burgess; grandchildren, David, Matthew, Gaberial, Cinnamon, and Kylah; great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Hazel, and Grayson; sisters, Sue Johnson of Powellton, WV, Pauline William of Lafallette, TN, and Mary Johnson of California; brothers, Louie Clough of Ohio and Little Frank Johnson of Powellton, WV; nieces, Angie Johnson and Tammy Johnson of West Virginia, Crystal Reeves of Texas, and Brittany McCluing of Kimberly, WV; and nephew, Little Tommy Johnson of Addena Village, WV.

A graveside service will be held at Mountain Home National Cemetery on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 2pm.
