Clyde A. Greene, age 76, of Bluff City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Bristol Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness and hospitalization. He was born January 16, 1949, in Bluff City, TN, a son of the late Soloman "Sollie" and Virginia Jenkins Greene.

In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Lee Greene, Randall Lynn Greene, and his twin, Claude A. Greene. He is survived by two sisters, Margaret Greene Smith of Banner Elk, NC, and Judy Greene Wright of Crossnore, NC. He is also survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Greene; his special nephew, David Roark; and his special niece, Jeannie Bowman; as well as his chosen granddaughter, Carley Roark.

Clyde was a resident of Grandfather Home for Children in Banner Elk, NC, 1959-1964. Clyde's love for Grandfather Home and the friendships he established while he was a resident there were something he cherished, memories of which he often shared. Clyde was a faithful member of the Grandfather Home alumni group and was very supportive of the annual alumni gatherings. Clyde's working years were spent with the Sullivan County Highway Department. After his retirement, Clyde enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, and doing things for others.

There will be no service at this time. A private family service in Crumley Cemetery, Bluff City, TN is planned for a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of 3 East at Bristol Regional Medical Center, especially Mackensie, Natasha, and Harley, for the excellent care provided. Expressions of appreciation also go to Jeannie Bowman for the loving care she provided, and for the prayers and support of all our family and friends.
