Connie Jessup, 63, of Erwin, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, Connie carried a spirit of joy, kindness, and adventure throughout her life. She was an avid outdoors woman who found deep peace in nature-whether hiking a quiet trail, going on long walks, or pausing to marvel at the beauty around her. Exploring the world with childlike wonder, she delighted in the unexpected and cherished each moment outside.
Connie shared many of those adventures with her beloved late dog, Tausa Ray Dingo, a faithful companion she brought with her from San Francisco. In recent years, her loyal dog Stryker brought continued comfort and love. Her bond with animals was a reflection of her tender, open heart-one that welcomed everyone she met. Connie truly never met a stranger and had a special gift for lifting others with her bright spirit and generous smile.
A woman of deep faith, Connie loved to talk about the Lord and found strength and joy in her relationship with Him. Her life was a reflection of grace, love, and quiet strength.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ursula McKemie.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Tobias and Isaiah Jessup; four brothers, Charles, Keith, Michael, and Phillip McKemie; and two sisters, Cindy and Angel.
To honor her wishes, her ashes will be scattered in the ocean by her family at a later date-a final tribute to her love of nature and freedom.
Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family. Online condolences may be shared at www.trinitymemorialcenters.com <http://www.trinitymemorialcenters.com/>.
