Cornelius James Monroe Jr., 70, passed away in Church Hill, TN on July 6th, 2026.

Born on August 15th, 1955 in Baltimore, MD, to Cornelius James Monroe Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Thomas.

Cornelius lived a life defined by a straight-shooting down to earth personality. He had a witty sense of humor and loved to laugh and smile. He loved his cats as if they were his children. He represented and uplifted the Cherry Hill, Baltimore community from his childhood and youth no matter where he resided.

Cornelius left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his parents Cornelius James Monroe Sr. and Elizabeth Jane Thomas, his sister Bernadette Monroe, and his brother Keith "Danuchi" Monroe.

In accordance with Cornelius's wishes, no formal services will be held.
