Daniel Lee Bellamy

Daniel Lee Bellamy, 53, passed away peacefully in his sleep in the morning hours of April 25, 2025. He was born on September 22, 1971, in Kingsport, TN to Jeanne Edwards Bellamy and Gary Bellamy (Carol). Danny graduated from Sullivan North High School in 1989, and attended Queens College. He was a lifelong member of Morrison Chapel Methodist Church.

Danny suffered for many years with the adverse impacts of juvenile diabetes. He was not bothered by what others thought, and lived life on his own terms. He was loving, independent, stubborn, and ambitious. Though he will be greatly missed, the memories of time spent with him will be forever treasured.

Danny is survived by his ex-wife, Lucinda Spradlin Bellamy, father, Gary Bellamy (Carol), mother Jeanne Edwards Bellamy, siblings Ben Bellamy (Robin) and Marty Bellamy Davis (Loran), along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.

Never wanting to be the center of attention, Danny requested that no memorial service be held. Instead, the family will host a Celebration of Life in July for family and friends.
