David Ray Walker

David Ray Walker, 61, of Bristol, TN, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025.

David was a lifelong and devoted member of St. Luke Methodist Church, where his faith was evident through his active participation in church life and activities. His church family was an important part of his daily walk, and his commitment to serving the Lord remained steadfast throughout his life.

He worked for several businesses throughout the Tri-Cities area, including Black Box Network Services and Lowe's Hardware, where he was known for his reliability and friendly nature.

David had a deep love for baseball, especially coaching Little League teams and encouraging young players both on and off the field. He was also a passionate fan of University of Tennessee football, proudly cheering on the Volunteers and attending many games over the years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ronna Walker; and his parents, Glenn Walker and Leota Walker.

Those left to cherish his memory include his special step-grandson, Raylan Walker; his brother, Randall Walker (Theresa); and his nephew, Ryan Walker, along with several other family members and friends.

Interment will take place at a later date at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke Methodist Church.
