Delbert "Blaine" Botkin went to be with the Lord on March 28th, 2026, at his home. Blaine was born in Virginia but grew up here in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Blaine was a great pool player who loved to spend time with his family and friends. If you knew Blaine, you knew he was a man of few words, but had a heart of good intentions. He always tried to be kind and giving to others.

He is preceded in death by his father; Rembert Botkin; mother, Blanch Botkin; brother, Bob Botkin; and sister, Betty Frye.

Blaine leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Linda Botkin, who he enjoyed calling LB; one son, Shawn Botkin and wife, Clarissa; two grandchildren; Keylee Botkin and Noah Botkin; and great grandson, Myles Carpenter. He is also survived by his two sisters Helen Fleenor and husband, John, and Barbara Morgan and husband, Gene. Blaine has many special nieces and nephews. He also has friends that have been like family to him.

Blaine was easy going. He loved Nascar and playing poker. Blaine worked most of his life in construction or the labor industry where he excelled at his work. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. He will be missed and loved forever. In place of flowers, please make any donations to the family for final expenses.

A celebration of life will be held at Trinity Memorial Centers, 1221 Stewball Circle, Kingsport, Tennessee 37660, on Friday, April 3, 2026. The family will receive friends at 4pm. A service will follow at 5pm.
