Denzel Crawford

With the saddest of hearts we would like to announce the passing of Denzel Crawford, age 89, Husband, Father, Grand-Father, Great Grand-Father and US Army Veteran. He Passed away on September 28, 2026 at his home in the Fall Branch Community. Born June 1, 1937 to Dick & Reba Crawford, he was the 6th child in a large Family of 19 Children.

He was preceded in Death by his Parents, Several Siblings, Mother-in-law & and His Oldest Daughter Theresa Gail Crawford (2023).

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Janie R. Crawford of the Home; his daughters, Rebecca Kauffman and husband John of Crestview, FL, and Robin Carpenter and husband Jeff of Fall Branch, TN; his son, Chris Crawford and wife Linda of Church Hill, TN; his four grandchildren, Johnna Vafides and husband Adam, Jonathon Crawford and Aly Hensley, McKenzie Ford and husband Matthew, & Shelby Carpenter; and his four great grandchildren, Kacen Crawford, Murphy Vafides, Jett Crawford, & Clark Vafides. He is also survived by Two Sisters, Three Brothers, several Nieces & Nephews along with extended family members.

A graveside service will be held with Military Honors at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Oak Glen Cemetery with Pastor Truman Ferguson Officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to arrive at the cemetery by 12:50 P.M.
