Derek Shane Hensley, 37, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2026 due to seizures.
He enjoyed watching martial arts, especially kickboxing, and playing video games, with Grand Theft Auto being one of his favorites. Derek also enjoyed spending time and going out with his friends.
Those left to cherish Derek's memory are his parents, James and Patty Hensley; several aunts and uncles; as well as nieces and nephews.
Receiving of friends and family will be at Trinity Memorial Centers on Monday, August 17th, 2026 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M., with the funeral service to follow. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 P.M. at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Pastor Will Shewey will officiate.
