Donald William Rutledge

Donald “Don” Rutledge, born August 23rd, 1961, passed away on April 25th, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Donnie was well known in the working world as an outstanding welder and pipe fitter. He was of the baptist faith and had a kind heart. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Rutledge. Donnie left behind a loving mother, Betty Joan Rutledge; two sisters, Ronda Rutledge, Debra Rutledge-Walters; brother, Tony Rutledge and wife Carolyn; and beloved nieces, Melissa Hall and husband Dennis, Steffanie and Jozie Rutledge; great niece, Elizabeth Waldo; great nephew, Robbie Hall; and a special loving family pet, Sissy. Per Dons request, there will be no formal service. The family request that if anyone would like to make a donation in memory of Don, please make a donation to the Kingsport Animal Shelter (2141 Idle Hour Road, Kingsport, TN 37660).
