Doris Jean Collins

Doris Jean Collins, 70, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 11th, 2018. She was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Doris met her husband, Dennis, in Florida. They lived in Florida off and on, North Carolina, and then to Kingsport to retire. Doris was a gifted creative soul who enjoyed playing music, singing, and knitting. She loved her grandkids and spoiled them rotten. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Dennis; parents, Milton Hall and Nellie Propst. Doris is survived by her son, Bryan Collins; daughter, Bonnie Collins; grandkids, Victoria, Nolan, Madison, Ryan; great grandchild, Rowan; sister, Deborah Doherty; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Graveside service will be held at Mountain Home VA Cemetery on November 21st at 10:00 AM. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
