Edna Marie Renfro

Edna Marie Renfro, Sissy, of Kingsport TN, entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior at the age of 82 on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Born in Clinchco, VA., she was the daughter of the late Arvil Lee Counts and Ethel Counts. Edna was a prayer warrior and knew the promise of eternal life in Jesus Christ. She lived in Kingsport, TN the majority of her life, retired from the Carriage House, where she worked as a framer for several years. She spent the last 18 months living with her loving son and his family in Bristol, TN. Her greatest joy was her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Mack Renfro; her parents, Arvil Lee and Ethel Counts; and her sisters, Anna Lee Carter and Shirley Counts.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeffrey Renfro, his wife, Melissa, and very special grandson, Gabriel; her sisters, Betty Clark and Margaret Childress (Donald); her brother, Robert Counts; her sister-in-laws, Judy Charles, Rose Jennings and Glenda Nester; her brother-in-laws, Phil Renfro (Carolyn) and Gary Renfro (Sherry); her special friends, Rick and Arlene Smithson, Amy, Harmony and Billy Alexander; her special cousin, Carol Roscoe; and her beloved grand pups, Cooper and Stella.

Edna requested cremation and no services will be held.
