Ella Jay Penley, 94, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Penley; parents, George Bristol and Mary Roberts Bristol; and siblings, Grover, Clyde, Carol.
She is survived by her son, Willie Boardwine and wife Robin, J.R. Aston, Eddie Dean, Lisa; grandchild, Mary Widener and husband Wayne; great grandchildren, Rosemary, Jacob, Lexi, Charley, Amy; siblings, Bessie Vanover, Edna Rollins; great great grandson, Brayden; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Brookside Baptist Church in Bristol, TN on Monday November 6th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral will follow with Pastor Mike Nixon officiating. Private graveside will be held at East Lawn Memorial Park.
Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to serve the family.
