Emma Sue Leslie

Emma Sue Leslie, 84, of Bristol, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. She was born on August 18, 1941 to the late Joseph L. and Pearl Stitt. She was a life long resident of Bristol. She graduated from Tennessee High School where she was a majorette in the Mighty Viking Band.

She was also preceded in death by her four brothers, Alanzo Stitt, Bill Stitt, Jack Stitt, and David Pool Stitt; two sisters, Betty Frazier, and Joyce Allison.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter (caretaker), Karrie McNutt and husband Jackie; son, Rick Leslie; grandchildren, Brandy Wilson and husband Lee, Stephanie Geffers and husband Kyle, Manny Leslie, and Heath Leslie; great grandchildren, Jamie Ball, Abigail Geffers, Lara Wilson, Jasmine Geffers, Christian Geffers, Harper Wilson, Isaiah Geffers, and Knox Wilson.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Ballad Health Hospice.

Visitation for friends and family will be held at Trinity Memorial on Friday, April 17th from 6:00 pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will follow with Pastor Pete Booher officiating.
