Eric Garland Begley

Eric Garland Begley, 44, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

He was born in Kingsport, TN on March 29th, 1981, to Aaron R. Begley and Darlene J. (Compton) Rhoton. Eric was preceded in death by his father, Aaron; and his sister, Denise Begley.

Eric grew up in Scott County, VA and graduated from Gate City High School. After completing the welding program at Greeneville Tech, he became a Certified Pipe Welder where he worked various jobs that allowed him to travel the country with his brother, Brian. Eric met his wife, Amanda, in high school and they have been together for 27 years. They have two beautiful sons, Brett and Baron, who were the joy of his life. He enjoyed fishing, football, video gaming, and Little Debbies. He was a ball of fun and always had a smile on his face. Anyone who knew him, knew he was a kind, genuine, and loving person.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amanda; his sons, Brett and Baron; his mom, Darlene; his siblings, Brian Begley, Megan (Chris) Smith, Tyler (Channa) Rhoton, and Levi Rhoton; his nephew, Hunter Begley; nieces, Callie Smith and Brenley Rhoton; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
