Evelyn Carol Hill

Evelyn Carol Hill, 79, of Elizabethton, TN, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Hillview Nursing Home.

Evelyn was born in Carter County, TN on August 26th, 1947 to the late Fred and Martha Markland Grindstaff. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson, Gregory Jordan Hill.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving life partner, Ronald Brown; her four children, Tammy Hill, Greg Hill (Tammy), Melissa Fizer (Keith), and Scott Hill (Debbie); 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Evelyn's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
