Franklin Lee Patrick

Franklin Lee Patrick, 42, of Johnson City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Born in Kingsport, Tennessee, Franklin spent much of his childhood in Reed City, Michigan, where he made many cherished memories that stayed with him throughout his life. He was a faithful member of the Apostolic Faith and found comfort and strength in his relationship with the Lord.

In March of 2014, Franklin married the love of his life, Mia Stone Patrick. Together they built a life centered on love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to one another. Family was the heart of Franklin's world, and he treasured every moment spent with those he loved.

Franklin remained active in keeping up with the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation, and was passionate about encouraging and connecting with others. He found great joy at Lamplight Theatre, not only attending performances but also participating in productions. Whether he was hunting, fishing, spending a day at Dollywood, or relaxing with his beloved cats, Franklin embraced life with enthusiasm and gratitude.

Known for his outgoing personality, Franklin never met a stranger. He loved a good conversation and was never afraid to speak his mind with honesty and sincerity. Beneath his straightforward nature was an incredibly caring heart that was always willing to lend a listening ear or offer support to someone in need. His kindness, humor, and genuine love for people left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marcella Patrick; his grandparents, Charles H. and Linda Patrick, Frank and Annabelle Webster, and L.D. and Martha Doran; his uncles, Roger Lee Doran, Douglas Patrick, Butch Pruitt, and Charles Gray; his aunt, Mary Gray; and his very special father-in-law, Bill Stone.

Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Mia Patrick; his brother, Stephen Andrew Patrick of Cleveland; his aunts, Carolyn Smith Guinn (Robbie) of Kingsport, Patsy Hobbs (James) of Midlothian, TX, Carolyn Pruitt of Bluff City, and Lisa Webster of Reed City, MI; his uncles, George Patrick (Tina) of Kingsport and Gordon Patrick (Amy) of Kingsport; his mother-in-law, Donna Stone; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to his caretakers, his very special mother-in-law, Toni Stone, his very special friend, Anne Bradford, and the compassionate staff of Gentiva Hospice for the exceptional love, care, and support shown to Franklin and his family.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lamplight Theatre on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 1pm.
