Freddie Lynn Callahan

Freddie Lynn Callahan, 72, of Johnson City, TN, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Born in Johnson City, Tennessee, Freddie was a man whose life was centered around his faith and family. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren, finding joy in the time they shared together. He enjoyed life's simple pleasures, from fishing and baseball games, to attending football games with his son, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Freddie grew up at Calvary Baptist Church, where his faith first took root, and he continued to let that faith guide him throughout his life as he became part of several church families. He was known for his kind and gentle nature, a sweetness that touched everyone he met. Freddie had a special way of making people feel cared for. He was always checking on others and never missing an opportunity for a good conversation. He was truly loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mildred Callahan; his sister, Pamela McVey; and his uncle, Jim Barker.

Freddie is survived by his loving children, Holly Price, Heather Callahan, and Zach Callahan; his cherished grandchildren, Autum Price, Nicholas Johnson, Gabe Peters, Bella Peters, and Neveah Peters; his sons-in-law, Daniel Peters and Kyle White; his brother, Alfred Callahan; his sister, Angie Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Family and Friends are invited to a Memorial Service to honor the life of Freddie Callahan on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM, at Harmony Freewill Baptist Church in Hampton, TN.
