Gary Lynn Neeley

Gary Lynn Neeley, age 69, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with illness.

Born on June 2, 1956, Gary was the son of the late Billy Neeley and Billie Jo Neeley. He was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and especially loved fishing, hunting, and golfing. Gary will be remembered for his strength, perseverance, and the time he shared with family and friends throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Neeley, and his nephew, Shannon Neeley.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Jessica Neeley; sister, Teresa Richards; brother, Dennis Neeley; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Mountain Baptist Church in Kingsport on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedysis Hospice for the care, compassion, and support shown to Gary during his illness.

Gary will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
