Glyn Linkous

Glyn Edward Linkous, 77, of Piney Flats passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 21, 2023. Glyn was a native of Hawkins County and was the son of the late Glyn and Hazel Linkous. Glyn served in the U.S. Army from 1965 - 1967 and was a Vietnam veteran. After serving in the military, Glyn supported his family as a truck driver for 46 years. Glyn was preceded in death by his daughter: Julie; sisters: Helen, Lois, and Sherlene; and brother: Bill.
Left to cherish Glyn's memory are his wife of 39 years, Ramona; sons: Jimmy and wife Renea, and Delbert; daughters: Martha, Carmen and husband Dale, and April and husband Scott; 12 grandkids, 13 great grandkids; sister Liz and husband Edroy; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City, TN.
