Harlan Chester Fitzpatrick

Harlan Chester Fitzpatrick, 63, of Gate City, VA passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Pike County, KY, but he had been a resident of Gate City most of his life. He enjoyed wood working and spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Alma Fitzpatrick; two sisters; and three bothers. Harlan is survived by his wife of 41 years, Emily Fitzpatrick; sons, Jim Fitzpatrick (Tamara), and Michael Fitzpatrick (Amanda), all of Hawkins County, TN; grandsons, Hayden, Kyle, Cannon and Jaxson; five sisters; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation at the home of Emily Fitzpatrick on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to to be made to St. Jude. Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home (423-723-8177) is honored to be serving the family of Harlan Fitzpatrick.
