It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved "Granny," Helen Kennedy Davidson, who left this world peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born on June 25, 1953, Helen lived a life full of love, resilience, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her warmth, and the countless memories she created with those she loved most.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Paul James Kennedy and Gladys Greer Kennedy. She is survived by her two children, Kevin Boggs and Brandy Boggs; and three cherished grandchildren, Robert "Robbie" Eagan (Chestney), Lily Franklin Wells (Riley), and Jordon Boggs (Kendall). She was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Shannon, and was joyfully expecting her second great-granddaughter, baby Wells, soon to arrive.
Helen is also survived by her brothers Paul Kennedy (Maddie) and Preston Kennedy (Vickie); sister Patsy Jones (Kenny); and two special nephews, Chris Jones and Scotty Jones. Her best friend for many years, Jeri Kenney, and her dear neighbor and friend, Barbara, also held a special place in her heart.
She deeply loved her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Helen's heart overflowed with kindness, and she cherished those around her beyond measure. Her family will forever treasure the lessons she taught, the laughter she shared, and the love she gave so freely.
Helen gave her heart to the Lord many years ago and had recently found peace in her faith. She spoke of being ready and at peace with the Lord.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the staff at Kawias Towers for their help and kindness to Helen over the past several years. Special thanks also go to Trinity Memorial for taking care of the family during this time of loss.
Though she has left our sight, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
