Jacob Dillon Weems

Jacob "Jake" Dillon Weems, 39, of Johnson City, TN, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2025, after a courageous battle with lupus.

A lifelong resident of Johnson City, Jake was preceded in death by his fiancée, Crystal Barnett; his father, Bucky Weems; paternal grandparents, Betty and J.R. Weems; and maternal grandparents, Maggie Martin and Wiley Nickles Jr.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Lacey Barnett; his mother, Kim Hinton; and his brother, Lucas Weems, all of Johnson City, TN. He also leaves behind his nephew, Mason Weems of Minnesota; two sisters, Christie Weems and Mandie Weems of Atlanta, GA; aunts, Lena Weems, Debbie Weems, Freda Nickles, and Cheryl Nickles; uncles, Ronnie Weems, Gary Weems, Jimmy Weems, Darryl Weems, and Joe Nickles, all of Johnson City, TN; as well as numerous cousins and extended family who will forever cherish his memory.

Funeral Services will be privately held by the family.
