James Michael Henry

James Michael Henry, 70, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

James, better known as Red, was a very special person. He was funny, had a good sense of humor, loved most everyone, and was a Walking Dead enthusiast with a huge heart. He was also known for trying to care for the homeless.

He is preceded by his parents, Willis J. "Pig" Henry and Lucille "Essie" Henry; sister, Linda Bowlin; brothers, Buddy Henry and Steven Henry; and nephews, Jeffrey Lynn Henry, Ronnie Bowlin, Randall Lee Hicks, and Wil John Scanton.

Jame is survived by his sisters, Pat Henry and Rita Robinson and their families.

A private service will be held.
