James Harron "Jimmy" Hensley

James H. "Jimmy" Hensley, age 80, of Kingsport, TN, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Wexford House Rehab Center.

He was preceded in death by his son Scott Hensley in September of 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Darlene Hensley; his daughter, Sonia Hensley (Owens Dill); his grandkids, Timothy Hensley (Megan), Hunter Hensley (Sarah); Riliemae Dill, Nevaeh Neal, Tyler Webb. His great grandkids, Kasen, Embreigh, Raylan, Waylen, and Bowie; daughter-in-law, Katrina Hensley; his brother-in-law, James McNew; good friend, Gary Lane; along with several neices, nephews, and friends that will cherish his memory.

He lived in the Sullivan Gardens Community all of his life. He was a member of Bays Mountain Baptist Church. He retired from doing HVAC work. He loved mowing his yard and raising a garden. Jimmy had a heart of gold, he was always there to help when someone needed help. He is and was loved by all, and will be missed by many.
