James Mack Ketron

James Mack Ketron, 80, passed away on Friday, October 07, 2016. He was born in Kingsport, Tennessee and was raised in Hiltons, VA. James worked at Kingsport Foundry for many years. He was a faithful member of Apostolic Gospel Church in Kingsport and his hobbies included hunting and making gun stocks. James was married to his wife, Salley, for over 57 years. He will be missed by many. He is preceded in death by his wife, Salley Ketron; parents, George and Nelly Ketron; and brother, Sammy Ketron. He is survived by his brother, Cecil Ketron; and sister, Nancy Lee McMurray. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 09, 2016 from 4-6pm at Trinity Memorial Centers Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Hermon United Methodist Cemetery (5395 East Carters Valley Road, Gate City, VA) at 10am with Pastor Greg Street officiating.
