James Robert Trent, 44, of Kingsport, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

James enjoyed traveling with his wife, Tiffany. He was a man who wore many hats and had many talents. James worked with his hands and enjoyed time in his man cave and with his dog, Lucy. He touched many people in a very positive way. James will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife, Tiffany Trent; mother and father, Kathy and Michael Trent; daughter, Kimberly Trent; sons, Noah Trent, Keaton Ingle, and Tyler Ingle; step-children, Skylar Barton, Tivis Barton, Brittany Woods, and Emily Liles; granddaughters, Ellison Ashkettle and Raven Richardson; siblings, Michael Trent (wife, Bridget), Ashley Trent, and James Novack; nephews, Seth Trent, Caleb Trent (wife, Grace), Justin Boyer; and niece, Alexis Boyer.
