Jamie Lynn McClellan

Jamie Lynn McClellan, 74, of Kingsport, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Jamie lived a full and meaningful life, grounded in faith, family, love, and the many memories she made along the way. Jamie was a proud graduate of Church Hill High School, Class of 1969, and later earned her degree from East Tennessee State University in 1984. She was a hardworking and independent woman who co-owned and operated Livewire Communications company, building a life she could be proud of alongside those she loved.

In 1970, Jamie married the love of her life, Wade, and together they welcomed their daughter, Staci, in 1971. Her family was at the heart of her life, and she treasured the time spent making memories with them.

Jamie had a true sense of adventure and loved traveling by boat, plane, and motorcycle. She loved being outdoors and could often be found enjoying the sunshine, the sand, the water, or the freedom of riding on a motorcycle. She lived life with a spirit of adventure and found happiness in simply being out and enjoying the world around her.

Jamie was preceded in death by her nephews, Jason Wallen and Austin Gaines.

She is survived by her loving husband, Wade McClellan; daughter, Staci; grandson, Aidan Robinson and his special friend, Lauren; granddaughter, Karma; siblings, Rhonda Gaines and Edgar "Butch" Shipley; niece, Sarah Sams; uncle, Elmer Shipley; along with many extended family members and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with Jamie.

Family and Friends are invited to Trinity Memorial Centers on Friday, September 18, 2026. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM.
