Jane D Statzer

Jane "Wilma" D Statzer, born April 13, 1942, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 23, 2026. She was known and loved by all, and had collected quite the list of "adopted" family who looked at her like a mother as well.

Wilma was a devoted Christian who loved God deeply and prayed for anyone in need. She spent most of her life alongside her beloved husband, Lonnie Jo Statzer, who she owned and operated L&L Little Engines with, a well known local lawn mower repair shop. She loved sweets, westerns like Perry Mason, and playing computer brain games like bingo and solitaire.

Above all, Wilma loved her family, especially her grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Gladys Dockery; her aunt, Jane Olinger; her eldest daughter, Sherry Linkous; her son, Michael Templeton; and her beloved husband, Lonnie Jo Statzer.

She is survived by her siblings, Ann Jones and Elmer Dockery; her youngest daughter, Kristy LaDuke; her grandchildren, Jessica Haney, Nick Moore, Kaytlin LaDuke, Taylor Lawson, Matthew Templeton, Brandon Templeton; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Ryan Smith, Micah Haney, Maverick Moore, Boston Moore, Jacob Lawson, Jenna Lawson, Joanna Lawson, Jonah Lawson, Josie Lawson, and Jackson Lawson.
